Safe, specialist-led continuity care

Biologics Express provides online dermatology reviews for patients already receiving treatment for chronic inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, and related conditions.

Our service is designed to support continuity of care through specialist review, structured follow-up, and secure online communication.

All reviews are conducted by Australian-registered dermatologists.

Step 4 — Follow-up if needed

We may request:

  • further information
  • clearer photos
  • recent blood tests
  • a phone or video consultation

Step 5 — Outcome and next steps

If clinically appropriate, your dermatologist may:

  • continue your treatment
  • provide a prescription
  • recommend further investigations
  • advise an in-person review

Telehealth limitations

Online care has limitations compared with in-person assessment.

While telehealth can be appropriate for routine reviews and continuity care, it may not be suitable in all situations.

Our doctors will assess whether telehealth is safe and appropriate for your situation.

Depending on your circumstances, we may recommend:

  • additional investigations
  • a phone or video consultation
  • in-person specialist review

Prescriptions and treatment recommendations are not guaranteed and are always based on clinical judgement and patient safety.

Your responsibilities

To help us provide safe care, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete information
  • disclose any recent changes in your health
  • provide details of current medications
  • upload requested photos or pathology results
  • seek urgent medical attention if your condition worsens

Monitoring and blood tests

Some biologic treatments require ongoing monitoring.

Your dermatologist may request:

  • recent blood tests
  • screening results
  • GP follow-up

Where clinically appropriate, we may recommend further pathology before treatment continuation.

Continuity of care

Biologics Express supports continuity of care.

With your consent, we may:

  • communicate with your GP
  • provide summaries or recommendations
  • recommend in-person follow-up where needed
